Your new role

As our new Proposal Engineering Manager, you will lead development of competitive sustainable Technical Solutions, and establish plans and strategies for Ramboll’s delivery model in collaboration with our Business Developers.  You will take the lead in technical client dialogues of establishing Technical Scope for Client Solutions and outline Ramboll’s Deliverables.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Advisory of Technical Solutions and best practice for clients in cooperation with Business Developers.
  • Interpret and establish Technical Scope of work ensuring alignment with client requirements Ramboll standards, best practices, and in-house expertise.
  • Establish high level overview of technical deliveries and roadmap for project execution.
  • Take lead in the preparation of high-Level Customer CAPEX and Ramboll offerings in close cooperation with Ramboll’s experts.
  • Facilitate technical scope and quality review sessions across project life cycle.
  • Adopt Technological Innovations into solutions and quired and standardized concepts and methodologies where feasible.

​As our Proposal Engineering Manager in Energy Transition, you will be part of an exceptional technical environment with 650 passionate colleagues. Our team consists of multidisciplinary experts covering diverse sectors and technologies, such as Offshore Substations, Power to X, Gas Infrastructure, Bio & Power Generation and Energy Intensive Industries on a global scale within the energy sector.  

​The transition to green energy is the organisation’s primary focus area. Our services cover the layout, design, and execution of large green energy solutions. We cover all aspects of a project including concept and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, EPC, and follow-up engineering.  

About you

These include:

  • A minimum of 15 years’ experience in Energy Solutions for Energy Intensive Industries, preferably with a multi-disciplinary engineering background as Engineering Manager or similar.
  • Understand value engineering, interface management, risk minimisation, and synergies and interdependencies with Suppliers.
  • High level understanding of gate delivery models for technical solutions and project execution.
  • Must have excellent understanding of Technical Solutions and Industry Practices and act as an integrator. Has natural authority based on knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to work in multicultural matrix environment and used to communicate with international technical experts.
  • Demonstrates good communication skills and has commercial acumen.
  • Understanding commercial risks and mitigations
