Your new role

As our new Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be Mechanical project lead for layout and balance of plant (BoP) on medium and larger projects, leading an international project team. You will also support the team lead in mechanical department developing the PtX market and pipelines in Norway.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Work closely with the assigned project manager ensuring that quality and deadlines are met.
  • Interact with Business Development team, clients, and stakeholders on technical solutions to ensure the best solution for the client.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure optimal and effective execution and quality.
  • Control the economy of the project by following up on progress and time consumption.
  • Handle risks and mitigations.

Our services cover the disciplines piping, layout and mechanical. We cover all aspects of a project including concept and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, EPC, and follow-up engineering.

 

About you

These include:

  • A Bachelor or Master within Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within mechanical design preferably within sustainable industry, onshore gas projects, oil & gas, process industries or equivalent.
  • Experience in Layout or BoP as lead for projects.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary projects across geographies.
  • Familiarity with 3D design tools and preferably have previous hands-on experience.
  • Have strong oral and written skills in Norwegian and English.
  • It will be beneficial to have knowledge within CE marking, e.g., PED and Machinery Directive.
  • It will be beneficial to have knowledge within Rotating equipment.
