We are looking to hire a passionated Frontend Development Engineer to join our internal frontend team in Copenhagen,  

who will work on developing and maintaining new features for Incept Sustainability software using React.js and Next.js along with the rest of the team. 

In this role you will get the chance to join our growing Engineering department where you will take part in optimising our Platform continuously while you will also be working with different business domains. Collaboration, commitment, and eager to learn are some of the keywords to get success in this position as you will get in touch with many stakeholders across the company in order to build the best product to our users.

We are looking for a student assistant in Ramboll's Strategic Sustainability Consulting department, to the Incept Sustainability development team. Incept Sustainability started as a startup at DTU, now acquired by Ramboll and backed by a large global company, the Incept team has maintained its agility, highly collaborative and solution-oriented drive known from startups. The Incept solutions is a fun, interactive and easy-to-use software with e-learnings, assessments and analytics supporting organisations with their sustainability transition by building awareness and competencies and helping to turn understanding into actions and informed decisions.

To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to be a student and located in the Copenhagen area. Furthermore, you have an educational background or are self-taught within computer science, engineering, or another applicable field.  

You have the eagerness to learn more, and you are not afraid of troubleshooting existing software solutions. As a person we expect you to be open-minded, interested and self-driven to learn and further expand your experience. You are curious, communicative, and a real team player.  

The job will be in English. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the development of new responsive, web-based user interface features 
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use 
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code  
  • Ensure system performance, availability, and security 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any front-end issues as they arise 
  • Helping develop a flexible and well-structured front-end architecture, along with the APIs to support it 

Must-have experiences: 

  • NextJS familiarity and passion for UI design 
  • Git familiarity 
  • Familiarity of CSS and Tailwind 
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs  
  • Good troubleshooting skills  
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ability to read, understand and implement well-known design patterns. 

Good to have qualifications 

  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. 
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform Administration 
  • Knowledge of WordPress and Node
