Business Overview:
The Technology Platforms Division (TPD) is responsible for building and operating the infrastructure and ecosystem platforms which power the Rakuten Group. Our mission is to provide our Rakuten Cloud and Ecosystem Platforms which will deliver Core Value to accelerate the growth of Rakuten Group services.

Department Overview:
The Incentive Platform Department (INPD) provides incentive and payment solutions that empower Rakuten's businesses around the world. The platforms are continually adding capabilities and scale to accelerate the Rakuten ecosystem synergies.

 
Position:

Position Details
As a Project manager, you will be responsible for leading multiple projects of various complexity by yourself, overseeing the entire project lifecycle.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Create and maintain project plan, goals, and milestones for each project.
- Be able to understand resource requirements and do what is needed to ensure that the right project members are assigned by management.
- Employ a basic understanding of budgeting and how to control budget.
- Communicate ideas, project progress, and results effectively to stakeholders at all levels and ensure their commitment to the project.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders across the company.
- Communicate project status and issues in a clear and timely manner to all impacted teams.
In this specific role, the Technical Project Manager will need to continuously assess and improve the team's project management processes. The role will also have elements of product management in that the project manager will contribute to achieving the Coupon Group's vision through the provision of new value to the business, in new service and function delivery. 
Importantly, this position requires the correct mindset to maintain and provide high-quality and reliable services to our clients and produce optimal satisfaction.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience in project management (3 years +) 
- Experience with project management tools 
- English

Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with SQL queries
- Understanding of product management
- Experience with product management tools such as Jira, 
- Experience working in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams 
- Japanese skill(Optional)
