Job Description:
As an experienced QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality standards of our software products. Your responsibilities will encompass developing and executing quality and test plans. You will identify and promptly report any issues that may arise, driving cross-functional teams to guarantee the timely delivery of products of the highest quality.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Standardize the quality process, plan, design, and execute tests, and perform quality management in cooperation with development members in order to improve the quality of our services.
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software quality, and secure delivery.
- Identify, isolate, and report issues to stakeholders, elaborate, escalate, and negotiate necessary improvement.
- Develop quality metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop test plans and strategy.
- Implement state of the art techniques to ensure continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Mentor QA Engineers to promote best practices and manage stakeholders.
- Stakeholder management.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Experience in software quality assurance and quality control (5 years+)
- Experience in test automation development/implementation (3 years+)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (java/python etc.)
- Advanced knowledge in at least one of test automation framework (Selenium, Rest assured, Cypress etc.)
- Experience writing maintainable test code
- Experience in developing/designing/implementing UI & API tests
- The capability to review code and solve debugging issues
- The capability to develop test strategies for complex systems
- A deep understanding of the different layers of test (unit test, integration test, end to end test etc.)
- Knowledge on performance testing tools and framework (Gatling/Jmeter)
- Good command of version control systems (Git)
- A familiarity with some API mock frameworks
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering or relevant areas
- Mobile app test automation experience
- Knowledge of security test tools and frameworks
- Experience in CI/CD
- Marketing platform knowledge
- Good knowledge of SDLC cycles
- An understanding of microservice test strategies
- Knowledge on one unit test framework (JUnit/NUnit)
