Business Overview

The Marketing Division leads brand, creative, marketing, and membership as a cross-group organization with a mission to expand Rakuten Group's membership value and ecosystem of over 70 services.  

 

We believe that the mobile domain is a platform that plays a fundamental role in the ecosystem, and as the Marketing Division, we are further promoting collaboration with Rakuten Mobile. 

Department Overview

The Brand Marketing Strategy Division is responsible for marketing strategy, UI/UX design, and defining development requirements. 

The department for this job opening is a new one that is established in September of this year. This division is responsible for projects that require cross-departmental coordination, including process construction, project promotion as the person in charge (PIC), and project management. It can be seen as a slightly expanded scope of what is typically referred to as a PMO (Project Management Office).

We are recruiting new personnel for the establishment of a new one. 

[1] Project Promotion  
For projects identified as important PRJs and selected for promotion, you will act as the project promoter.  
After appointing the PICs (Persons in Charge) from each department, your responsibilities will include: 
- Hosting regular meetings and other necessary gatherings, 
- Constructing processes for task execution,  
- Organizing key discussion points for project promotion, 
- Requesting tasks from each PIC and managing the execution status of these tasks. 

[2] Project Management For projects identified as important PRJs and selected for promotion, you will act as the project manager. Your responsibilities will include:  
- Identifying and organizing key discussion points and PICs for task execution, - Requesting tasks from each PIC and managing the execution status of these tasks. 

Work Environment 

At the initial stage, the organization is expected to consist of 5 to 6 members. 

Mandatory Qualifications: 

- Project management experience (PMO) 

- Communication skills 

  

  

Desired Qualifications: 

- Experience in project promotion 

- Experience in proposal and support tasks for executive management, as well as meeting management 

- Business English skills
