Business Overview

The Marketing Division leads brand, creative, marketing, and membership as a cross-group organization with a mission to expand Rakuten Group's membership value and ecosystem of over 70 services.

We believe that the mobile domain is a platform that plays a fundamental role in the ecosystem, and as the Marketing Division, we are further promoting collaboration with Rakuten Mobile.

Department Overview

Marketing Planning Department is an organization that leads the planning of Rakuten Mobile's plans and product strategies and their implementation.

Service Design Department is in charge of defining requirements, responding to inquiries from each department, and leading projects as they arise.

Catalog management group that we are recruiting for this time plays a major role as a bridge to coordinate information on development projects to each department, such as catching new project specifications promptly in cooperation with the development department and project owners, preparing regulations in cooperation with the legal and liaison departments, converting each requirement into information in an internal tool and sharing that information with all departments, and creating FAQ and customer information page templates in cooperation with the customer support team and design team.

Position Details

Our mission is to communicate Rakuten Mobile's service specifications correctly and in an easy-to-understand manner, both internally and externally, and to help people widely understand the service.

Within our section, operations are divided into processes. When releasing a new service or product, we need to collaborate with all related departments, so we are required to move like a project leader in every task. In addition, as a department that can catch the latest project information quickly within Rakuten Mobile, I sometimes respond on behalf of the project owner when there are questions about specifications from various departments.

[Creation of Terms and Condition]

The team will work with the Legal Department and the External Relations Department to prepare the Important Information Statement and Terms of Use.

In collaboration with the UX and Creative Teams, manage the schedule for the release of the Important Matters Statement page.

[Development project support]

Communicate with development staff and test executors to confirm project requirements.

The requirements for new services and products are converted into information in an internal tool (Confluence), and the specifications are summarized in an easily understandable manner. This is similar to editing work.

Create FAQs for new services and products in collaboration with the customer support team and the shop team.

Mandatory Qualifications: 

・Experience in any of the following

-Creation of FAQs *For customer/internal

-Creation of documentation *For customer/internal

-Creation of case specifications

-Experience in customer support

-Experience in creating and maintaining updated legal documents such as terms and conditions, terms of use, etc.

-Collaboration with the legal department

-Collaboration with members of multiple departments outside of own department

-Creating and modifying HTML pages and emails

-Experience in directing the production of pages

-Experience working with a large volume of products and services
