The Technology Platforms Division (TPD) is responsible for building and operating the infrastructure and ecosystem platforms which power the Rakuten Group. The Membership Platform Department (MPD) is thinking big: we create scalable platforms that power the Rakuten Ecosystem worldwide. Overall Position Details
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading small projects by yourself through the whole project lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Define project objectives and scope.
- Defines roles and responsibilities and ensure that each member understands them.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues.
- Monitor the project progress and make adjustments as needed to deliver on time.
- Communicate in a clear and timely manner to stakeholders.
- Report project status effectively.
- Be the initial point of project escalation; escalate up as and when needed.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience in project management (3 years+)

- Work Location: Tokyo
