Business Overview

Department Overview

AI & Data Division lead to develop service platforms and products utilizing Rakuten group data and provide AI & Data consulting services to contribute to strengthen each business utilization. We are also leading companywide mid-long term AI & Data strategy development and execution.

AI & Data Division General Management Office is horizontal organization to manage strategically overall division’s HR, services, financial budget, operation, division events and so forth. With stakeholders, we’re contributing to manage, strategy planning and operate division wide topics in order to support maximization of organizational capabilities.

Position Details

- Hiring strategy development, promotion and process improvement for IT Engineers 

- Promote career development, support for skills enhancement including planning and providing necessary systems and training programs

- Internship introduction support, Hiring events coordination/participation

- Onboarding support (for new grads/mid-careers)

- Analyze survey results for improving employee engagement, plan and execute follow-up actions

Work Environment

Technology Service General Management Office is a global organization with approx.30 members.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Experience in Project Management or PMO

- Strong communication, collaboration, and coordination skills

- Strategy planning, presentation, business development skills

- Strong leaderships skills, abilities to get things done with speed/ flexibility

- High level of initiatives to identify issues, gather/organize information, make proposals/implementation

- Risk management and problem-solving abilities

- Documentation skills using Microsoft Office, Experience with project management tools (Confluence, JIRA, etc.)

- Business-level fluency in Japanese & English

Desired Qualifications:

- IT related Project Manager preferred.

- Project management certification

(PMP, CAPM, etc.)

- Experience in IT human resources hiring, career development, or consulting

- Experience in working at HR or IT division

- Data Analysis skill

- Basic knowledge of IT, engineering and AI
