The Technology Platforms Division (TPD) is responsible for building and operating the infrastructure and ecosystem platforms which power the Rakuten Group. Our mission is to provide our Rakuten Cloud and Ecosystem Platforms which will deliver Core Value to accelerate the growth of Rakuten Group services

Department Overview

The mission of B2C BSS Development Department (B2CBD) is to accelerate our contribution to the telecommunications business by providing an innovative, high-quality and stable ecosystemized B2C BSS platform. MNO business just started in 2020. 10 million subs are coming soon. We are still expanding rapidly every year. Let's walk together to become the No.1 telecom operator.

Overall Position Details

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading small projects by yourself through the whole project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Define project objectives and scope.
- Defines roles and responsibilities and ensure that each member understands them.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues.
- Monitor the project progress and make adjustments as needed to deliver on time.
- Communicate in a clear and timely manner to stakeholders.
- Report project status effectively. - Be the initial point of project escalation; escalate up as and when needed.

Additional Information

In our team as a project manager, you will be managing entire projects of B2C BSS in relations with Rakuten Mobile, with a focus on:
- Budget management, Cost management  
- Project Management (Schedule, Member, Stakeholder, Reporting for executive etc.)
- Priority management with business team/executive.
- Estimation, scheduling with vendor, internal development team.  
- Communication with all of stakeholder  
- Reporting/Make materials for executive.  
- Procedure/Process making for entire project.  
- Issue management  
- Release Management 　

Mandatory Qualifications

- Experience in project management for system development.

Desired Qualifications

- Experience of management for large scale project (e.g. 100 staff/month+, parallel development).

- Knowledge of telecom industry.

- Experience of Budget Management, Cost Management

- Experience of reporting to executive/management level.

Languages:

English (Overall - 3 - Advanced), Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
