We plan and implement various initiatives to achieve this goal.
DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging) Group is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where every individual feels valued and empowered. Our group is composed of two teams: the Service Inclusion Team and the ERG Promotion Team, which drive DE&I initiatives that advocate for inclusion both internally and externally.

Why We Hire
Aiming to Enhance DE&I Initiatives for End Users
Due to an increased demand for our team’s support across various business units and our goal to establish ourselves as leaders in connecting DE&I to service and business matters, we are seeking a new Service Inclusion Specialist. The new hire will work alongside experienced team members to support existing consultation matters and develop strategies & action plans and execute it through collaborating with Business Units to expand our initiatives company-wide. You may also have the opportunity to propose new and existing initiatives and promote these efforts to the media and wider society, contributing significantly to our mission of fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
Position Details
Essential Tasks
- Drive Projects: Lead and manage projects with business units to enhance service inclusivity
- Deliver Actionable Insights: Offer feedback on inclusive approaches for business units
- Expand Initiatives: Lead and scale ongoing projects and explore ways to expand DEI initiatives, including training programs and information hub development
- Report Impact: Prepare ad-hoc and regular reports on service inclusion initiatives for internal use and senior leadership (Japanese & English)
Main stakeholders
- Internal Teams: Collaborate with people in charge from business end (marketing, sales planning, management planning), PR, and HR departments
- Senior Leadership: Interact with business heads, department heads, and prepare reports for Corporate Management Meeting and Sustainability Committee presentations

Work Environment
Corporate Culture Division (Lv1, led by CWO)

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Interest and commitment to continuously learning about DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion)
- Over 3 years of experience in service (product) development
- Proven ability to lead and manage projects from inception to completion
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work with various teams and departments
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service inclusivity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including documentation & presentation)
- TOEIC score of 800 or above or equivalent English proficiency
- Business-level Japanese language skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with underrepresented communities, in product, research or volunteering capacity
- Experience in developing and delivering training programmes related to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
- Experience in product management, including the ability to work closely with product development teams to ensure that inclusivity is integrated into the design, development, and delivery of online services
- Experience in engaging with external stakeholders, such as community organizations and advocacy groups, to promote inclusion initiatives
- N1 in JLPT
