Department Overview
The Frontend System Development Department is responsible for designing and implementing all user experiences across Rakuten Payment services. We are actively seeking a talented web front-end engineer to contribute to the development of applications, webview UIs, and websites for key services like Rakuten Pay, Rakuten Point Card, and Rakuten Edy.
Your primary mission will be to collaborate on delivering exceptional user experiences to our diverse user base.
The Content Group plays a pivotal role in driving user engagement across all non-transactional aspects of our services. Our responsibilities span a wide array of content initiatives, from crafting interactive campaigns and user notifications to developing corporate and service sites in support of our business teams. We also provide crucial mini-app integration support, significantly enhancing the feature set of Rakuten Pay. Furthermore, we design and build internal tools that enable our marketing groups to efficiently create and manage a high volume of campaign pages. Our expertise extends beyond technical guidance; we actively contribute creative and interactive strategies to elevate user engagement, transforming traditionally static content into dynamic experiences.

Position Details:
- Html/CSS coding and TypeScript / JavaScript programming
- Create animation interactive UI
- Create and improve internal tools to assist business teams
- Making proposal to adopt new technology as a technical consultant
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience in React.js / Svelte
- Experience in CSS / SCSS
- Experience in ES6 / TypeScript
- Experience using bundler tools such as Webpack, Vite and Esbuild.
- Responsive web design coding
- Experience with git, pipelines and unit testing
- Participation in front end design/spec definition
- Able to communicate well in English
- Understanding of UX/UI design and brand guidelines
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working in agile development
- Performance optimization / SEO & WCAG compliant development
- Knowledge of database, development pipeline and engineers
- Knowledge of Xcode/Android Studio in smartphone app development
