Business Overview

The Marketing Division is a central organization that supports over 70 services both in Japan and globally. We oversee key areas including Brand, Creative, Marketing, and Membership, with the mission of maximizing customer experience (CX) and business results across the entire Rakuten Group.

Department Overview

This position is within the Operating Model Integration Department, Solution Strategy Section. As a member of our team dedicated to advancing the use of AI in the creative domain, you will be responsible for streamlining and enhancing creative operations by leveraging AI and the latest technologies.

Our mission is to create new production processes through the fusion of Creative and AI, striving to simultaneously improve operational productivity and elevate creative quality.

Position Details

We are looking for candidates to fill the following roles. We will define your specific responsibilities based on your experience and career aspirations during the interview process.

- Project Manager: Lead business process improvement projects in marketing and creative domains.

Collaborate with relevant departments to drive AI integration and workflow transformation.

- Director: Drive the AI-driven transformation of processes in Web production and campaign operations. Utilize AI and automation tools to balance high creative quality with operational efficiency.

- Designer: Devise efficient and high-quality design production processes for Web and digital media using AI tools. Take on the challenge of developing new forms of expression and optimizing workflows

Mandatory Qualifications:

- 3+ years of professional experience in the creative field (Web, Design, Online Production, etc.)

- Project management skills

- Proven experience in the end-to-end process of identifying issues, proposing solutions, and executing them

Desired Qualifications:

- Interest in or professional experience with new technologies such as AI, RPA, or Machine Learning

- Knowledge of UX design or information architecture

- Experience in business process improvement or strategy formulation (e.g., at a consulting firm)

- Understanding of Agile methodology or Design Thinking

- Experience in leading large-scale projects

- Business-level English proficiency
