What you'll do:
- Work fast and make an immediate impact. Ship your first feature within the first week!
- Decide end-to-end (database models to UI) technical implementations
- Partner with design and product teams to create compelling user experiences
- Serve as a technical leader and positively impact the engineering team
- Grow your technical expertise and gain exposure in leadership and planning
- Requires 2-4 days presence in our San Francisco office
What we’re looking for:
- 4+ years experience working at start-ups or in other fast-paced environments
- Skilled independent contributor and interest in mentoring other engineers
- Ability to weigh tradeoffs in technical implementations
- Mastery of breaking complex problems into simpler, achievable goals
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with product and design teams
- Proficient in techniques to profile client experiences, using metrics and analytics to track feature usage
- Ability to determine feature usage and collect data from frontend tools
- Experience developing modular user interfaces, and familiarity with modern frontend styling frameworks, tools and workflow
