About the Role: 

We are looking for a Lead Analytics Engineer to join our Product Analytics team. This senior role will leverage your extensive experience in data engineering, analytics, and healthcare to build and lead impactful analytics projects for both our clients and internal teams. You will play a critical role in driving the innovation and effectiveness of our analytics solutions, ensuring they deliver maximum value and meet the evolving needs of our healthcare clients.

You will collaborate closely with our product, design, and engineering teams to identify operational opportunities within client hospitals and enhance the performance of our product suite. This role requires a strong balance of technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to innovate and solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of analytics engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

• Design and execute advanced analytics projects to drive insights and improvements in our products and client outcomes.

• Develop and maintain scalable analytics products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

• Partner with stakeholders to identify key business questions and translate them into technical requirements and analytical solutions.

• Support and enhance our analytics platform, including deployments, troubleshooting, and new feature development.

• Ensure data integrity and consistency across various sources, particularly electronic health record (EHR) data.

• Optimize SQL queries and data processing workflows for modern data visualization tools like Looker.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or business intelligence.

• Proven experience in leading analytics teams and projects.

• Expertise with SQL and working with complex, interrelated datasets.

• Strong background in EHR data and healthcare analytics.

• Proficiency in data modeling, transformation pipeline design, and production services.

• Experience with modern data warehouses (Snowflake preferred) and data visualization tools (Looker preferred).

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for making a real-world impact.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).

• Hands-on knowledge of LookML and advanced data visualization techniques.

• Advanced degree in statistics, economics, or other quantitative fields.
