About QuidelOrtho, Prague: Prague is one of the most beautiful European cities as well as the cultural and economic heart of Central Europe. Your new role: As a Vendor Master Data Analyst, you will be responsible for validating the accuracy of incoming requests, completing vendor maintenance in SAP system, and analyzing vendors to ensure high quality of vendor master data. You will participate on all related activities that ensure full compliance. In this role, you will interact with internal and external clients/stakeholders to resolve issues identified during the process. This role is part of a global team but will focus on the EMEA region.
 

Key responsibilities in your new role:

  • Communicates effectively and with high quality of service (both writing and verbal) to internal customers and external suppliers.

  • Identifies problems and actively collaborates for win-win solutions.

  • Supports manager in moving forward deliverables related to projects, initiatives, continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Completes incoming new supplier/change requests in a timely and accurate manner by performing integrity checks to ensure a high quality of master data records.

  • Ensure all requests contain the appropriate supporting documentation and comply with corporate requirements before they implemented into SAP.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for business questions relating to vendor master data.

  • Identification and appropriate follow up of opportunities for increased accuracy, efficiencies, standardization, and rationalization of vendor master data.

  • Analyze and improve data quality, which includes running scheduled data audit reports (e.g., elimination of duplicates, standard texts formats, retirement).

  • Review of existing data for completeness, accuracy, and continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Responsible to set up and maintain vendors records and attach all related documents.

  • Must be able to provide clear, consistent direction and guidance regarding vendor master data, vendor due diligence, & vendor requirements (supplier company and tax registration document, ACH information, etc.).

The individual:

  • 3+ years demonstrated work experience in Master Data, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain (or equivalent experience)

  • Working knowledge of Accounts payable process and accounting.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with SAP ERP Vendor (or Customer) Master Data is highly desirable.

  • Advanced MS Excel experience (including functions, Formulas).

  • Fluency in English is mandatory, additional European language / Czech would be a plus.

  • Very good analytical skills are essential.

  • Excellent customer orientation skills as well as very good time management is required.

  • A team player with the enthusiasm and dedication to learn new processes and tools.

  • Self-starter and critical thinker who connects the dots to drive data quality, customer satisfaction, and audit finding risks.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy.

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and techniques.

  • Superior interpersonal skills with ability to actively collaborate and work in a team environment.
