Role: Senior Software Developer

Experience Level: 4 to 8 Years

Work location: Mumbai, Bangalore & Trivandrum

What you’ll do:

You will be working as a Senior Software Developer within the healthcare domain, designing and delivering robust data pipelines and applications for structured and unstructured data that are running across multiple geographies. You will play a crucial role in helping healthcare organizations achieve their business goals through the use of modern web technologies, cloud services, and DevOps practices. You will collaborate closely with Architects from other specialties such as Cloud Engineering, Software Engineering, and ML Engineering to create innovative platforms, solutions, and applications that cater to the latest trends in the healthcare industry, including digital diagnosis, software as a medical product, and AI marketplaces.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly applications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Full-Stack Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications using Angular for the frontend and Node.js for the backend.

• Data Management & Search: Implement and optimize data storage solutions using MongoDB and leverage Elasticsearch for powerful search and analytics capabilities.

• Vector Search & AI Integration: Integrate and utilize Milvus for efficient vector search, supporting advanced AI and machine learning features within our applications.

• API Development & Integration: Design, develop, and maintain robust RESTful APIs using Node.js to facilitate seamless communication between frontend, backend, and other services.

• Performance & Scalability: Ensure application performance, scalability, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design across all developed solutions.

• Code Quality & Best Practices: Manage state effectively, organize code for complex applications, participate in rigorous code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to peers.

• Technical Leadership: Contribute to technical proposals, RFPs, effort estimates, and solution design, demonstrating strong technical leadership.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate effectively and collaborate closely with Design, Product, Backend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Angular, Node.js, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Milvus.

• Design and implement highly scalable and performant RESTful APIs.

• Ensure application performance, scalability, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.

• Manage state and organize code for complex Angular applications.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Contribute to proposals, RFPs, effort estimates, and solution design.

• Communicate effectively across Design, Product, Backend, DevOps, and QA teams.

Must Have Skills:

Frontend Development:

• Expert proficiency in Angular (versions 14+).

• Strong command of TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., NgRx, Akita).

• Deep understanding of responsive design principles and modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Material Design, Tailwind CSS).

• Experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Karma, Cypress).

Backend Development:

• Expert proficiency in Node.js.

• Extensive experience with Node.js web frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS).

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.

• Experience with MongoDB for NoSQL database management.

• Experience with Elasticsearch for search, analytics, and data indexing.

• Familiarity with Milvus for vector search and similarity matching.

Cloud & DevOps:

• Solid experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, SQS, SNS).

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

• Experience with Docker and containerization.

General Development:

• Proficiency with Git and advanced Git workflows (e.g., Gitflow, feature branching).

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable, maintainable solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
