Data Engineer with Databricks and Power BI

Responsibilities

Design, set up and pilot a Databricks application for managing and reserving capacities in substations.
Develop new pages and functionalities within Power BI dashboards.
Integrate and connect new data sources to existing Power BI reports.
Further develop, stabilize and deploy a Databricks application based on an existing MVP.
Automate interfaces and data integrations, including:
• data transfers to EAM/SAP systems;
• automated data correction and data quality processes.
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to align on requirements, implementation activities and intermediate results.

Requirements

Several years of relevant professional experience, including hands-on experience in Databricks projects.
Strong programming experience in a corporate or enterprise environment.
Solid experience working with databases and data-driven applications.
Strong hands-on knowledge of:
• Databricks
• SQL
• Power BI
• Python
• Git
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and an understanding of the structure and operation of substations is an advantage.
• Previous experience with the client or familiarity with the client's environment is considered a plus.
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken.
