CNC Press Brake Operator

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC press brake machines to bend sheet metal parts per specifications
- Read and interpret detailed shop drawings and blueprints
- Select and install appropriate punch and die sets
- Calculate bend lines and apply bend allowances accurately
- Work with a wide variety of materials and thicknesses
- Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Recognize correct part orientation and bend order
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, managers, and customers
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
- Take responsibility for work performed and outcomes
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of general sheet metal experience
- Strong CNC programming knowledge and hands-on experience
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with punch and die selection and installation
- Excellent understanding of bend allowances and part orientation
- Proficient with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and responsible work ethic
