We are looking for a hardware system engineer to integrate and verify HW and SW subsystem for Wireless LAN (WLAN/WiFi) communication systems.

This individual will work closely with across functional teams taking designs from pre-silicon validation to delivery of complete reference designs.

Tasks include design integration and validation of different SW and HW sub-systems in simulation/emulation environment prior to tape out, system level feature bring-up, verification and performance investigation with silicon.

Must have skills:

• Fluent in one programming language, such as C/C++, python, or Matlab.
• 1+ years Systems Engineering or related work experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications

• Master degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
• Working knowledge of RF transceiver structure.
• Design understanding and/or experience of Low Power features.
• Design understanding and/or experience of BT/WLAN/LTE COEX.
• Design understanding and/or experience of RTT based Location technologies.
• Solid background in physical and MAC layer design of communication systems, and extensive knowledge in signal processing algorithms (transmitter and receiver) and simulation methodologies
• Familiarity with OFDM systems and wireless communications
• Familiarity with wireless standards such as IEEE 802.11, Bluetooth or LTE.
• Familiarity with VHDL and digital verification environment.
• Familiarity with FW implementation.

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
