Job Description: Role is to Architect, build and develop customer centric AI solutions for connected smart systems, Mobile, Compute and Intelligent edge and make them ease to use, scalable across Customers and Developers. Also provide the tools, technologies, and expertise to meet every challenge with smarter, faster applications. This challenging role will require someone to deeply understand customer needs and can architect solutions by translating those needs to existing SW/HW solutions available, identify gaps and build missing components to realize solutions. Also make it easy for developers, customers, and ecosystem with ease of use of QC SW, HW and achieve best performance, power. Practical experience in domains of AI, ML, Mobile, Compute, IoT markets and architecting solutions, customer interactions is desirable, along with a good knowledge of multiple layers AI models porting, frameworks, Tools is preferable. What you'll be doing: • In this role you will work with Qualcomm's partners to develop and deploy best in class ML applications based on popular frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and ONNX, that are optimized for Qualcomm's AI hardware accelerators. • The work will include model assessment of throughput, latency and accuracy, model profiling and optimization, end-to-end application pipeline development, integration with customer frameworks and libraries and responsibility for customer documentation, training and demos. You will work with a highly collaborative and focused global team with a track record of successfully launching market-leading Qualcomm technologies and products. What we need to see: • 11+ years of Hands-on experience in running deep learning models on popular ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX • Experience with systems-level performance modeling, profiling, and analysis • Experience with C++, Python • Experience developing software solutions that run in Linux environments including containers and virtual machines • Expertise knowledge in different operating systems, software stacks, heterogenous compute systems and realizing customer asks on same. • Willingness to work in a structured software development environment delivering high-quality implementations (code & test) • Experience with Source Code and Configuration management tools, git knowledge is required • Good English communication (written and verbal) and positive interpersonal skills • Experience with ARM architecture, and experience with model deployment (especially Large Language models, etc.) is an advantage. •

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

• 2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.

Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) • Strong mathematical foundation in machine learning, deep learning and Computer Vision will be beneficial
