General Summary:

Overview
•In this position, the candidate will be working with cross-functional teams to supporting Linux based automotive platform in virtualized env, should have demonstrated ownership of Linux Vehicle platform enablement across customer programs.
•Integration and maintenance (upgrade) of Linux kernel and kernel platform components.
•Should have worked on diff Kernel build strategies (Yocto‑based and Bazel‑based flows), kernel configuration, and version alignment.
•Should have solid understanding of Kernel bring‑up, boot validation, and early boot debugging in stand-alone and virtualized environments.
•Should have good Development experience of Device Drives or Services/Application in Linux platform , Kernel , features required for automotive virtualization use‑cases.
•Ability to customize LV builds for headless version , Security related distros.
•Should be able to collaborate with global platform, kernel, and virtualization teams to deliver stable releases.
•Driving technical discussions, design reviews, and onboarding/ramp‑up activities for Kernel topics.
•Operating systems concepts - scheduling, memory management and device drivers
•Using debug tools like GDB ,JTAG debugger, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers.
2 years to 8 years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Python, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
