General Summary:

Voice AI is designed to deliver low-power wake-up, low-latency, and high-performance on-device voice technologies on Qualcomm platforms. These technologies include Voice Activation, Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Text-to-Speech (TTS), and more, and can serve as front-end components for large language models (LLMs).

We are seeking a talented and motivated Voice AI Software Engineer to work on Voice AI technologies for Windows platforms on Snapdragon. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Windows platform development, voice architecture, and AI model integration. Candidates who possess both skill sets will be given priority.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Strong programming and debugging skills in C/C++/C#.
  • Hands-on experience in software design and development on Windows platform.
  • Solid understanding of Windows OS architecture, including app/service layer and driver layer.
  • Experience troubleshooting stability, performance, power issues on Windows platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to collaborate across a globally diverse team.
  • It would be an advantage to have deep understanding of Windows voice/AI/power stack.
  • It would be an advantage to have experience in voice technologies such as voice activation, ASR, TTS, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Design, Develop, maintain Voice AI architecture/software on Windows Platform.
  • Analyze and resolve voice related issues, including function, stability, performance and power issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-location and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end voice solutions.
  • Provide technical support according to the customer requirement.
  • Document designs/best practices and share knowledge within the team.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering with 4+ years’ experience, or Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years’ experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
