EDAAP (Engineering Solutions and AIML) team is seeking a talented Plugin Development Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of plugins for various IDEs, including VS Code, Eclipse, JetBrains family of IDEs, Eclipse, Microsoft Visual Studio and other IDEs

Experience:
3-7 years of experience with Plugin and user interface development with strong expertise in Typescript and programming.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain plugins for multiple IDEs such as VS Code, Eclipse, JetBrains family of IDEs, Visual studio and other IDEs.
• Develop and integrate generative AI solutions into plugins to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality plugin solutions.
• Leverage open-source frameworks for plugin development (where applicable)
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient TypeScript code.
• Ensure seamless integration of plugins with IDEs and enhance their functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plugin performance and compatibility.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in plugin development and IDEs.
• Contribute to UI/UX improvements and ensure a smooth user experience.
• Understanding of React Native knowledge for cross-platform plugin development or building user interfaces
• Strong Typescript, CSS and knowledge of programming

Education Requirements
• Proven experience in developing plugins for IDEs such as VS Code, Eclipse, JetBrains family of IDEs, and other IDEs
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in programming - React Native, Python, Rust or Java
• Familiarity with the Continue Dev open-source framework.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Experience with UI/UX design and development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Work in fast paced environment.
• Support users and debug issues.
• Strong communication skills.

Qualifications
• 5 or more years of experience in applying AI and machine learning techniques to practical and comprehensive technology solutions.
• A strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
• Expertise in ML, deep learning, Py Torch, Python, NLP and Transformer architecture.
• Experience in deploying LLMs, embedding model/sentence transformers in production use cases.
• Thorough knowledge in basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and best-practice patterns
• Strong expertise in programming (Rust/Python)
• Experience in fine-tuning a large language model using custom content (documents, data, code).
• Experience in developing Generative AI applications, Agentic Systems and Retrieval Augmented Generation.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets, preprocess them, and create appropriate data representations.
• Solid understanding of statistics, linear algebra, and probability theory. 

• Proven experience in developing plugins for IDEs such as VS Code, Eclipse, JetBrains family of IDEs, and other IDEs
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in programming - React Native, Python, Rust or Java
• Familiarity with the Continue Dev open-source framework.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Experience with UI/UX design and development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Work in fast paced environment.
