General Summary:

We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer with extensive experience in Java, Python, Snowflake, and AWS. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development, cloud computing, and data engineering, with a passion for building scalable and efficient data solutions. The candidate should have a strong knowledge in Object oriented programming, data engineering  fundamentals and software engineering principles.

Responsibilities / Skillsets:
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes.
- Ability to work with stakeholders including Product Owners, Architects, and cross-functional teams, understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, and delivery of high-quality product to users.
- Exhibit a wide variety of professional characteristics such as debugging, problem solving, and excellent interpersonal skills. 
- Provide project support on back-end/front-end applications, integration, and required test harnesses to meet business requirements.
- Demonstrate proficiency in designing and implementing high performant data processing solutions.
- Independently write reliable, testable, and maintainable code.
- Execute technical tasks related to system integrations and APIs under direct supervision.
- Contribute to designing, building, and deploying software pipelines with supervision.
- Efficiently complete tasks to meet project deliverables and associated deadlines in the software development process.
- Actively engage with team members, seeking opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in IT Software Development.
- Participate in technical discussions within the project team.
- Have ability to work on independently with minimal guidance.
- Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing.
- Thoroughly review technical documentation for straightforward projects under the guidance of a supervisor.

Candidate should have:
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Python, Spring framework, Microservices, Cloud (AWS preferred), SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong development experience of enterprise scale applciations using frameworks like Spring Boot and Django.
- Extensive working experience building highly scalable data intensive applications using AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Glue, Redshift, SQS, SNS etc.). .
- Min 2-3 years of experience with data ware house tools, preferably Snowflake/Redshift, including data modeling, performance tuning, and security.
- Strong development experience with SQL and No SQL databases.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD tools.
- Attitude and aptitude to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication/inter-personal skills a must
- Experience in scrum framework and Agile methodology.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of work experience in programming, scripting, and/or automation or IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
OR
6+ years of work experience in programming, scripting, and/or automation or IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

• 2+ years experience with Database Design structures such as Mongo DB, MySQL.
