General Summary:

The Auto Platform Infra organization at Qualcomm is looking for experienced Full Stack Web Developer to join our dynamic team responsible for creating visualization platforms, helping leaders and developers creating insight throughout our software development process.

 

Job Overview

• Work closely with engineering and IT teams to build and maintain a salable and resilient platform.

• Build tools and automation for monitoring and visualizing data from various software development systems.

• Develop visualization web platforms using SQL databases, Python backend and JavaScript frontend frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related field.

• 5+ years exp in DevOps or Software engineering.

• Experience in at least one high level programming language such as Python.

• Experience in Web development frameworks such as Vue or React, Python backends such as Django and databases such as PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with publisher-subscriber tools such as Kafka, MQTT or RabbitMQ.

• Effective communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

• Experience in working in an Agile context.

• Experience in Linux with Kubernetes and git.

• Experience using source code management platforms such as GitHub, Gerrit or GitLab.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana and Elastic.

• Experience developing and supporting one or more products throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle using CI/CD methodologies.

• Experience working on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

• Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols.

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Software engineering.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
