General Summary:

This position is located in Hod HaSharon

As a Senior Modeling Engineer, you will lead the development of advanced modeling and simulation solutions within Qualcomm’s Modem Technologies Engineering Group in Hod HaSharon. You will work at the intersection of C++ development, Modem & CPU architecture, and wireless technologies, collaborating with architecture, hardware, software, and cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will take technical ownership of complex tasks and projects, drive execution from planning through delivery, influence technical decisions, and solve challenging problems independently.

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced engineer with strong C++ skills, solid understanding of Modem & CPU architecture, and proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives. Experience with SystemC, Python, LTE/5G, PHY, CPU, or HW/Logic Design is an advantage.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering degree graduate (GPA >85)

• 5 years of proven experience in C++ programming

• Good Understanding of CPU Architecture

• An understanding of wireless system architecture and products.

• High integrity and Team player

• Committed and creative

• Not restrained by need of reverse engineering

• Strong technical, planning, and communication skills.

• Quick in learning and willing to take up challenges.

Preferred qualifications:

• Familiarity with System C Programming

• Experience with CPU Architecture

• Familiarity with Python

• Familiarity with LTE\5G Technologies, especially PHY layer

• Familiarity with HW\Logic design

• Familiarity Computer Architecture

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
