The Mobile engineering team at Qonto currently has over 100 highly skilled engineers, from all over the world, working closely in cross-functional teams to shape our finance solutions. 🤖 Android

Our app is 100% written in Kotlin and based on MVVM & Clean architecture, using the Coordinator pattern, Coroutines, and Flows. We have started challenging initiatives such as modularization, reducing the build time, and migrating towards Jetpack Compose. Our CI is composed of Gitlab, Firebase (distribution, Test Lab), and Sonar.

A high focus on tech quality is done :

Using Clean Code / SOLID principles

Investing effort on tests: 14000+ units tests, 1400 UITests, 3000 Snapshot tests

Following a component approach, using our design system.

Giacomo hails from Milan and brings a decade of experience as an Android engineer in Italy, working with both startups and larger companies like Subito and Facile. Before joining Qonto, he honed his leadership skills as an Engineer Manager at Subito. Now, as a Tech Lead at Qonto, Giacomo is ready to leverage his extensive experience and passion for technology to drive innovation and efficiency within the Android team.

Giacomo is not just about codes and algorithms; his leadership is characterized by a blend of technical excellence and a love for collaboration. He is committed to creating an environment where team members can thrive, innovate, and bring their ideas to life. Outside of work, Giacomo's enthusiasm for soccer, snowboarding, and travel brings a lively and adventurous spirit to the team - always ready to share stories from his latest trips or the newest TV series he's binge-watching!
