The Software Engineer (PHP, MySQL, Symfony) Role

Join us in advancing our software licensing and enablement practices on Qlik’s global SaaS platform! We're on the lookout for a talented engineer and communicator to modernize our licensing software components and processes. You’ll be working with teams around the world delivering features and integrations using PHP and MySQL in a Kubernetes environment at scale.

• Facilitating Collaboration: Foster and lead collaboration across global teams, ensuring alignment with development requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to internal projects and initiatives, driving continuous improvement within our ecosystem.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

• Languages: Fully bilingual in French and English.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong experience in PHP and MySQL and a strong willingness to learn quickly on new tech! Symfony (at least 3 years experience).
• Cloud Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborative Mindset: Passionate about problem-solving, with a reputation for getting things done and a strong sense of ownership.
• Effective Communication: Ability to build relationships, coordinate and lead effectively with cross-functional and cross-geo teams.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000 CAD per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package, eligibility requirements for benefits will be controlled by applicable Qlik plan documents and policies.
