The Customer Success Engineer Role

Join us as a Customer Success Engineer at Qlik! As a pivotal member of our team, you'll be at the forefront of empowering businesses with cutting-edge data integration, data quality, and data governance technology, with an initial focus on Talend technology. Your dynamic, customer-centric expertise in data engineering will drive meaningful outcomes for our most strategic customers, shaping the future of data engineering.

• Collaborative Engagement: Partner closely with Customer Success Managers and other customer-facing roles, ensuring coordinated and successful customer outcomes. 

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

• Best Practices Deployment: Collaborate with customers to deploy, manage, and audit best practices, ensuring scalable and secure implementations. 
• Technical Workshops: Conduct technical workshops and provide product updates, empowering customers with the latest advancements. 
• Problem Solving: Research, investigate, and recommend solutions to data and business challenges, taking technical ownership to drive resolution. 
• Customer Success: Analyze and troubleshoot customer issues, document and present complex solutions, and ensure successful project completions. 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 6 years in a data engineering field, managing multiple customers and projects.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency with ETL/ELT and Data Quality technologies, especially Talend Data Fabric
  • Knowledge of databases, data lakes, NoSQL technologies and data replication concepts.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, streaming technologies, and big data solutions.
  • Experience in Java development, scripting languages, and DevOps technologies.
  • Expertise in designing and deploying complex data solutions for cloud providers, particularly for Azure or AWS, with an understanding of container technologies
  • Familiarity with Windows & Linux Servers, networking, and troubleshooting strategies.
  • Abilities in SSO-related software and security technologies.
• Soft Skills: Self-starter with strong client-facing consultative skills and creative problem-solving ability.
• Language Skills: Business-level English. 
• Travel: Occasional travel to customer sites may be required for workshops, business review etc. 

The location for this role is:

France- Suresnes, Paris or Nantes
