Backend Developer

Description
Qedma is looking for experienced backend developer to help us build and scale the infrastructure that powers our quantum computing solutions.
In this role, you’ll work on the foundations of our platform, developing services that run in both cloud and on-prem environments, managing data flows, deployments, and integrations with cutting-edge quantum hardware.
You’ll own core backend components, from APIs and orchestration layers, through distributed workflows, to CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments. You’ll collaborate with engineers, top-tier researchers, and partners worldwide (including IBM, AWS, and others) to deliver robust, production-ready software used in research centers and data centers across the globe.

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building backend or SaaS systems, with at least 2 years using Python.
- Strong experience with modern DevOps practices - CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Comfortable designing and maintaining services that are reliable, secure, and easy to operate.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
Advantages:
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Mathematics/Physics a plus).
- Experience with AWS, Temporal, and PostgreSQL.
