Electrical Engineer

From Q-Tech, we are looking for a Hardware Solutions Specialist for a leading global provider of reusable transport containers, dedicated to optimizing the logistics of fresh food distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stay updated on advancements in connected technology, particularly in tracking and monitoring systems.
• Define hardware specifications in collaboration with internal business units.
• Oversee and manage supplier-led hardware design and development.
• Validate and approve new hardware solutions for operational use.
• Develop functional prototypes integrating both hardware and software components.
• Lead the introduction of innovative tracking mechanisms.
• Create proof-of-concept models and MVPs to evaluate feasibility.
• Approve new hardware solutions based on project milestones and performance assessments.

What We Expect:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Several years of hands-on experience in hardware development, preferably within IoT and tracking technologies.
• Expertise in hardware design, including selecting electronic components such as processors and batteries.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communication technologies (e.g., RFID, Bluetooth, BLE, 5G) and proficiency in programming languages (e.g., C, Python).
• Analytical skills to identify key data points aligning with operational needs.
• Ability to conduct thorough requirement analysis and contribute to hardware solution designs.
• Advanced project management capabilities and organizational skills to meet deadlines effectively.
• Language skills: Fluent English is required; German is a plus.
