At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.

In Workday enterprise performance management at PwC, you will focus on implementing and managing the Workday enterprise performance management (EPM) software suite, which includes financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capabilities. You will work closely with finance and accounting teams to streamline financial processes, improve data accuracy, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors Degree 

Minimum Years of Experience: 8 years 

Preferred Qualifications

Degree Preferred: Master’s Degree 

Certifications Required: Workday Adaptive Planning, Deployment 

Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration/Management, Finance, Human Resources Management, Accounting, Computer and Information Science 

Certifications Preferred: Workday Services functional certification and/or engagement manager certification, Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday Financials 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills: 

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or proven record of success in implementing budgets, forecasts, and reports within Adaptive Planning for Finance and Workforce Planning. 

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or proven record of success in analyzing financial models and reports (spreadsheet/ non-spreadsheet based models) and translating those models into Adaptive Planning. 

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a record of success in providing technical guidance (design, model, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, etc.) for the Adaptive suite of products including: 

  • Maintaining proficiency and certification in the Adaptive Planning solution suite; and, 

  • Developing and enhancing the existing Adaptive Planning solution capabilities at PwC. 

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in a role utilizing Adaptive Planning for at least 8 years, and having completed at least 12-15 end to end deployments. 

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success with 8+ years of experience and working knowledge with budgeting and forecasting, including expense, personnel, revenue, capital, balance sheet planning, and financial reporting/consolidation, which includes the following areas: 

  • Designing and building complex financial planning models, utilizing advanced Excel skills; 

  • Possessing financial and/or management accounting background; 

  • Demonstrating problem-solving skills; 

  • Providing exceptional customer service; 

  • Managing against timelines and goals effectively; 

  • Possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills; 

  • Providing business analysis and requirements gathering; 

  • Demonstrating project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while being detail oriented; and, 

  • Having exposure to business process mapping and/or re-engineering is preferred.

The salary range for this position is: $130,000 - $256,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. Echo Jobs has been exceptional in my job hunt where it provides one platform to job hunt and I don't have to open 10 websites just to look for a job. The only feature that I would request is to display fully remote jobs that are not restricted to a country since the one available shows ie, Remote, US yet.
