About your Manager

Lukáš is a manager specializing in data management and governance. He gained his focus on data management while working at Ataccama, a leading provider of software for data quality, data cataloging, and master data management. After completing his studies at the Czech Technical University in Prague, he moved to PwC, where he uses his expertise to help meet client's needs in the field of data management. 

Job Description & Summary

  • Ability to drive delivery of data governance projects, act as subject matter expert, ensuring timely and successful implementation across PwC and client teams. 

  • Configure and implement industry-standard data governance platforms such as Ataccama, Informatica, Collibra, Purview, Alation, Dawiso, or similar; hands-on configuration experience is essential. 

  • Define project tasks, delegate responsibilities to delivery teams both within PwC and at client sites and proactively manage project budget and timelines.

  • A​ct as the primary client's liaison to lead strategic discussions, provide expert guidance, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. 

  • Own the data governance solution throughout the project lifecycle by identifying opportunities, proposing actionable next steps, and developing both short-term and long-term roadmaps tailored to client needs. 

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data governance, with a focus on metadata management, and integrate these insights into project delivery.

Requirements of the Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, PMP) is a plus. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data governance, data management, or data related disciplines. 

  • Proven track record of successfully leading end-to-end delivery of data governance projects in large, complex environments. 

  • Hands-on experience configuring and implementing one or more data governance platforms such as Ataccama, Informatica, Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Alation, Dawiso, or similar solutions. 

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and working in client-facing roles with strong stakeholder management skills. 

Technical Skills: 

  • Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, data quality, data cataloging, and data stewardship best practices. 

  • Strong knowledge of data governance-related technologies, tools, and methodologies. 

  • Practical experience managing project budgets, schedules, and resources. 

  • Proficiency in using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Microsoft Teams). 

Leadership and Communication: 

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams. 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels. 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach in identifying risks and mitigating them. 

  • Communicative level of English and Czech language is a must
