Job description and summary
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with deep experience in SnapLogic,SQL, ETL pipelines, and data warehousing, along with at least 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Databricks. The ideal candidate has a strong background in designing scalable data solutions and working across cloud and big data environments. Familiarity with Python is a strong plus.

Responsibilities: 

•  Design, build, and maintain data integration and ETL pipelines using SnapLogic
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to support business analytics and reporting
• Work with structured and unstructured data in large-scale data warehouse environments
• Leverage Databricks for advanced data processing, transformation, and analytics
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across platforms •
• Create clear documentation for data workflows, architecture, and processes
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in data engineering

Mandatory skill sets: 

Proficiency in SAP SAC, including data modeling, story creation, and dashboard development. •

Strong understanding of SAC data connectivity options and integration with various data sources. •

Experience with SAP HANA, SAP BW, and S/4HANA. • Proficient in SAC scripting and advanced analytics capabilities. •

Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices

Preferred skill sets: 

Experience with Python for scripting or data processing tasks • Familiarity with CI/CD practices •

Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance best practices
