Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Job Overview:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will act as a critical link between business stakeholders and the IT team. You will be responsible for deeply understanding business needs, analyzing business processes, and driving the design and implementation of solutions to ensure alignment with organizational goals. You will lead the requirements analysis for complex projects, mentor junior analysts, and facilitate business improvements and transformation to deliver ongoing business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with business units to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, identifying issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Design and optimize business processes, develop detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications (FSD), and other related documentation.
• Participate throughout the project lifecycle by supporting solution design, testing, and implementation to achieve business goals.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between business and technical teams to clarify requirements and manage changes effectively.
• Lead requirement reviews and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure deliverables meet expectations.
• Support change management and user training activities to promote adoption of business systems and processes.
• Mentor and guide junior business analysts to enhance team capabilities.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing innovative business improvement solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis or related roles, preferably with experience on large and complex projects.
• Proficient in business analysis tools and methodologies including process modeling (BPMN), use case analysis, user stories, Agile/Scrum practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills with a holistic business perspective.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with project management and documentation tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
• IT system or software development background is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CBAP or equivalent are preferred.
