Job Description & Summary

• Lead the design and development of end-to-end cloud architectures on the Google Cloud Platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability for future growth.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess existing systems, and propose innovative cloud solutions that meet performance, security, and cost-efficiency standards.
• Develop comprehensive architectural designs, technical specifications, and migration strategies for cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
• Provide expert guidance and oversight during the implementation phase, working closely with engineering teams to ensure adherence to architectural best practices and GCP standards.
• Define and enforce cloud governance frameworks, security controls, and compliance measures within GCP environments.
• Conduct architecture reviews, performance optimizations, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and efficiency of GCP solutions.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and trends in cloud computing, evaluating their potential application within the organization's cloud strategy.
• Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert, contributing to the development of best practices, standards, and methodologies related to GCP.
   

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum 13 years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or a similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong proficiency in GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking, IAM, etc.
• Proven track record in architecting complex, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions while adhering to security and compliance standards.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles, microservices, serverless computing, containerization, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• GCP certifications like Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect or other relevant certifications would be a strong asset.
