In data engineering at PwC, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.

As part of the Data and Analytics Engineering team you are expected to develop and implement data-driven strategies to drive business growth and enhance decision-making. As a Director you are responsible for setting the strategic direction and leading business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. This role involves defining data management and governance strategies, collaborating on transformation projects, and leveraging modern cloud data architectures to align data initiatives with organizational goals.

What You Must Have

- Bachelor's Degree

- 10 years of experience

What Sets You Apart

- Azure Data Fundamentals or Azure Data Engineering certifications preferred

- Developing data-driven strategies for business growth

- Defining data management and governance strategy

- Conducting regular data/analytics strategy refresh

- Collaborating on strategy and transformation projects

- Understanding modern cloud data architectures

- Implementing cloud data architecture and integration patterns

- Applying knowledge in Big Data engineering and ETL/ELT

- Designing advanced analytics solutions and AI/ML models

The salary range for this position is: $148,000 - $317,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
