As a Senior Unity Developer, you’ll need to be highly self-motivated, solution-oriented, and capable of working independently while fostering collaboration within the team. You’ll play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our products and in building a culture of excellence.

While this role is based in Alkmaar, Netherlands, we believe in the power of in-person collaboration, so we expect you to be available for 32–40 hours per week in the office.

Tech Stack and Skill Requirements

You don’t need to tick every box — but here’s what we’re looking for:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience with Unity3D and C#

  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, modular architecture and complex systems

  • Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and technical problem-solving

  • Experience in leading code reviews and mentoring junior developers

  • Strong understanding of real-time data and integrating various data sources into Unity

  • Familiarity with version control systems (GIT) and best practices for collaborative development

  • Proven experience in optimizing code for performance and scalability

  • Excellent communication skills — capable of discussing complex technical concepts with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Expertise with Unity DOTS/ECS for high-performance applications

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD workflows, and agile project management

  • Familiarity with asynchronous programming and responsive system design

  • Experience building cross-platform or VR/AR applications
