What You Will Do:

• Contribute in defining, developing, and evolving cloud architecture design, deployment, security, and operation
• Implement IaC automation using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, CoudFormation for deploying production applications
• Partner with Cyber Security team to implement security architectures for meeting industrial compliance controls
• Define and evangelize cloud-related optimizations and best practices to improve reliability and performance
• Leads impact assessment and decision related to technology choices, design /architectural considerations and implementation strategy
• Participate in an on-call rotation that will include development staff

What You Bring to ServiceMax:

• Minimum of 3 years’ direct hands-on experience working with cloud production environments
• In-depth experience building systems based on cloud technology in AWS environments
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing cloud automation in Terraform & Ansible
• 3+ years of production experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS
• In-depth experience working in Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting
• Demonstrable knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols
• In-depth Experience working with High Availability and Fault Tolerant architectures
• Experience working with Monitoring tools like NewRelic, AppDynamic, DataDog
• Well-developed analytical skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive

Must have qualification:

• US Citizenship 

Nice to have qualifications: 

• AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional or Associate
• AWS Certified Solution DevOps Engineer Professional
• AWS Certified Developer Professional

PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate’s background and experience, in determining salary for a position. Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the salary range for this position to be between $140,000 - $165,000. The actual pay may be lower or higher depending on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location and may also include the opportunity to earn a discretionary bonus. Additionally, every PTC employee has the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program which allows employees to purchase discounted PTC stock and, for eligible roles, an equity grant. Subject to the terms and conditions of PTC’s benefits programs, employees may be eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and sick leave policies, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) contributions and employer match, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage and a generous commuter subsidy
