As a Business Development Manager at PTC you are a core member of the Solutions Consulting organization in EMEAI. Your focus will to engage with customers, PTC sales teams, and partners to build digital transformation roadmaps, value propositions, and financial models based on the customers strategic priorities and maturity.
You’ll leverage your deep industry experience, consulting practices, and technology know-how to help companies in India on their digital transformation journey – from working with stakeholders to build Digital Thread value roadmaps and the associated business case for investment, to supporting our Success Managers and deployment Partners.
Your responsibility will include Business engagement and generation; Builds and validates value through discovery, workshops, analysis, roadmaps, proposals, and references, applies the VRM tools and Value Management Framework processes
This highly strategic role requires travel across India and the ability to support customers and partners across all our discrete manufacturing markets.
Your Day-To-Day:
- Partner with PTC’s Sales teams to develop account strategies.
- Build relationships and influence senior leadership at key customers.
- Work with clients to develop technology deployment roadmaps and the associated value (Value props)
- Drive value centric engagements
- Lead engagements with stakeholders to build financial return on investment models. Business and value roadmap blur prints
- Develop vertical market strategies to increase PTC presence and market share.
- Represent PTC externally at conferences and via social media channels to ensure effective Executive positioning of PTC’s solutions.
- Develop and document materials and ensure effective reuse of assets.
- Collaborate with a global team to adopt and share best practice.
- Deliver against key performance indicators including pipeline, deal sizes, and subscription renewals.
Your Skills and Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s/master’s Degree
- 15+ years of operational experience in Manufacturing and/or Product Development space and/or an advisory consulting practice within these domains
- Strong gravitas and ability to influence senior executives.
- Proven track record of successful digital transformation projects in the industrial sector
- Deep understanding of Digital Transformation technologies and the ability to develop prioritized roadmaps aligned to customer strategy.
- Financial skills to build and present the business case for technology investment.
- Credible and articulate Thought leader on all aspects of Digital Transformation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills
- Ability to analyze processes and make recommendations (Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, etc.)
- Enterprise Software, Implementation & Governance knowledge
- Experienced in interviewing, writing, preparing analysis results documents, and delivering live presentations to executives and cross-functional group
- Product development, Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, and Service process knowledge desirable
