The role supports the delivery of customer‑facing and internal technology initiatives by overseeing the full software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with governance standards, and maintaining high system reliability. The position collaborates with business stakeholders, development teams, and vendors to deliver high‑quality technology solutions aligned with organizational strategy.

Job Responsibilities

1. Software Development & Delivery

• Lead and manage the end‑to‑end software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment.

• Conduct impact analyses and translate business requirements into scalable, customer‑centric system solutions.

• Ensure application performance, reliability, and stability through active monitoring and timely issue resolution.

2. DevOps, Cloud & Infrastructure

• Execute DevOps activities such as CI/CD pipeline management, automated deployment, and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.

• Utilize Azure and other public cloud services for application hosting, deployment, and environment maintenance.

• Apply modern engineering practices using Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.

3. Governance, Compliance & SDLC Control

• Adhere to established SDLC processes, delivery control guidelines, documentation standards, and sign‑off procedures.

• Fulfill regulatory, audit, and risk management requirements by ensuring compliance throughout development activities.

• Follow project initiation and approval workflows such as ITJR, RDP, and Office 365 Portal submissions.

4. Vendor & Project Management

• Engage and manage vendors to ensure on‑time, quality delivery and adherence to contractual obligations.

• Support project managers in planning, monitoring, execution tracking, and risk escalation to ensure timely outcomes.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with business units, product owners, and distributed teams to drive clarity and alignment on requirements and solutions.

• Provide clear communication on development progress, risks, and resolutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.

• 3–8+ years of hands‑on IT development experience, with supervisory experience preferred for senior roles.

• Strong proficiency in:

  • Java, JavaScript, NodeJS (Typescript), Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful API development.

  • Public cloud (Azure) and infrastructure automation (Terraform).

  • Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD frameworks (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Knowledge in Unified Data Architecture is an advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, both written and spoken.

• Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
