About Protect AI

Protect AI is shaping, defining, and innovating a new category within cybersecurity around the risk and security of AI/ML. Our ML Security Platform enables customers to see, know, and manage security risks to defend against unique AI security threats, and embrace MLSecOps for a safer AI-powered world. This includes a broad set of capabilities including AI supply chain security, Auditable Bill of Materials for AI, ML model scanning, signing, attestation and LLM Security.

Role

Protect AI is seeking software development engineer (SDE) to join our growing Engineering team. Our engineering team builds and operates ‘Protect AI Platform’ covering everything from AI supply chain security and ML Model Scanning to LLM Security. You will work closely with fellow Software Engineers who bring a variety of skillset to the table including Backend, Frontend, Infra, ML and Security Engineering. You will also get opportunity to work closely with Product Managers, Architects and our CTO.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative products end to end taking ownership of DevSecOps

  • Collaborate across functions (Product Managers, UX Designers and Engineers) to understand requirements and develop solutions

  • Act as a technical leader and mentor junior team members

  • Continuously improve the software development process, including testing, deployment, and monitoring

Qualifications:

  1. Significant experience (4+ years) building and maintaining software systems. Backend systems and APIs including stateful systems.

  2. Experience building complex distributed systems.

  3. Strong expertise in modern Python (type hints, Pydantic, ..) and at least one strongly typed programming language (Go, Java, C#, C++).

  4. Comfortable working with modern Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI) and Infrastructure as Code.

  5. Preferably have experience operating systems in production with SLAs and on-call.

  6. Experience with Kubernetes and Cloud Native ecosystem would be a plus.

  7. ML/MLOps experience would be a plus.

  8. Strong communication and problem solving skills.

  9. Excited about working in an agile and fast paced environment.
