Company Description
Well funded local start-up with excellent team, primarily staffed with accomplished engineers from other highly successful start-ups. VC funding has been provided from top tier VC's from both coasts to deliver their product.
Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to work in a risk free environment on a newly, internally funded, multiyear project.
Evaluate tools and develop an automated system to deploy and monitor a cloud services platform.
Initially work alongside a small, talented group of software engineers building an open source, cloud based management platform from the ground up. Individually responsible for developing automation software to be used by the devops team.
Once developed, build, join the network team in the ongoing process to manage a variety of mature networks via the newly deployed cloud management platform.
The hiring company is a mature, established organization that has committed to and funded a next generation platform to be used internally. The project is in the early stages of a multiyear effort.
Required experience includes an expertise with:
Nagios,
Network monitoring expertise
-open source systemes management frameworks
-Linux
Python preferred
Qualifications
Experience developing automated motitoring software for enterprise networks.
enterprise network engineering
nagios or other motitoring tools
pythin or similar automation programming exrience
