About The Role

As a Senior Applications Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our operational capabilities and enhancing our platform's integration with key third-party systems including Retool, Make, Intercom, HubSpot, and our proprietary platform. Your expertise will directly contribute to our revenue growth and operational efficiency, ensuring our scaled services operate at peak performance.

Core Objectives

  • Design, develop, and deploy intelligent solutions that streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and drive data-driven insights.
  • Leverage low-code/no-code platforms and generative AI technologies, you will be instrumental in creating user-friendly interfaces, automating manual processes, and integrating disparate systems to unlock new levels of efficiency.
  • Directly impact the revenue growth of our key programs through system optimization and strategic enhancements.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as an expert for third-party systems, guiding the strategic integration and utilization within our environment.
  • Analyze and automate: Identify opportunities for automation within existing processes, leveraging generative AI and low-code/no-code platforms to design and implement intelligent solutions that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
  • Develop custom scripts and workflows: Write scripts in Python to automate repetitive tasks, integrate APIs, and extend the capabilities of low-code/no-code tools.
  • Test and iterate: Thoroughly test developed solutions, gather user feedback, and continuously refine and improve implementations based on real-world usage.
  • Collaborate and communicate: Work closely with stakeholders across different departments to gather requirements, present solutions, and ensure successful adoption of new tools and automations.
  • Document and share knowledge: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of developed solutions, workflows, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and ongoing maintenance.
  • Integrate systems and data: Leverage tools like Make and Retool to create robust integrations between various platforms and systems, enabling smooth data flow and exchange.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience as an Applications Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with demonstrable experience writing scripts to automate business processes.
  • Experience interacting with REST APIs, webhooks, and data formats (JSON/XML).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Experience working with low-code platforms such as Retool, Make, or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex integrations and optimize operational processes.
