About the Role

Proof is looking to grow our sales team by hiring a results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR). As an SDR at Proof, you will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying potential customers, nurturing leads, expanding existing clients, and laying the foundation for successful sales interactions. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our growth and contribute to our mission to make service of process more efficient. 

You will be the first connection our customers will have with our company. Our lofty sales goals will never be reached without a smart and innovative team of SDRs. You are passionate about getting in touch with as many new prospects as possible every day. You will test new techniques and constantly search for new and creative ways to reach your audience. You will celebrate every email or phone call response. Your drive to connect with prospects is outweighed only by your sincere curiosity about our customer’s business problems. Above all, you will endeavor to provide value and assistance to everyone you encounter.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting within both existing clients and new clients 
• Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers within the defined target market(s)
• Utilize various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media, to initiate contact with prospects
• Qualify leads based on established criteria and assess their needs and challenges

Outbound Communication
• Effectively communicate the value proposition of our software solutions to potential customers
• Engage in consultative conversations to understand prospects' pain points and tailor messaging accordingly

CRM Management
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
• Track and report key metrics, including lead conversion rates and pipeline progression

Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads
• Provide valuable insights from prospect interactions to inform and refine sales strategies

Continuous Learning
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and our own evolving software solutions
• Actively participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in client-facing role, preferably in the software industry
• Experience with sales productivity tools including, HubSpot, 6Sense, Salesloft, Attention Tech, Sales Assembly, etc. is a plus
• Results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
• Adaptability and the willingness work and thrive in a fast paced and ever changing environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
Hybrid remote position, required 3 days in the Denver office. Preference given to those located in Denver, CO

Compensation

  • Salary range $55,000-$65,000 base with OTE $65,000-$75,000, based on experience and location
