Senior DevOps Engineer

MOVEit is on-prem software which provides secure collaboration and automated file transfers of sensitive data and advanced workflow automation capabilities without the need for scripting.

We are looking for people with a high “curiosity quotient” that are interested in rapidly expanding their software development skills. Our team is open and friendly, and we back each other up. We mentor, share, collaborate and solve problems together to deliver the best solutions possible for our customers.

In this role, you will:   

• Develop and maintain robust and user-friendly installers using InstallShield · Implement advanced installer features such as prerequisites, and upgrades
• Create and maintain build pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Write clean, maintainable, and readable code, according to the team coding standards
• Engage in code reviews, planning sessions, and architectural discussions
• Work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and product management teams to gather requirements and define installation processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer installation issues
• Work effectively within multi-site organization

Your background:   

• Strong programming and scripting skills in PowerShell, InstallScript, or C++
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools including Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines
• Good understanding of MSI, file systems, services, registry
• Working knowledge with .NET
• Excellent team collaboration
• Dedication to quality
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Good written and verbal English skills

Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have:   

• Experience with other installation tools like WiX Toolset
• Knowledge of REST API design, implementation, and usage
• Understanding of file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTP/SSL)
• Database design and performance analysis
