IT Systems Engineer I

In this role, you will: 

• Administer and manage Windows operating systems and applications.
• Maintain and support Windows Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services.
• Perform system updates using patch automation tools.
• Monitor server performance using server monitoring tools.
• Ensure data integrity and availability through effective backup tools and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
• Document processes, procedures, and configurations related to system administration tasks.
• Handle service requests and support tickets promptly and efficiently.
• Adhere to production processes and change management policies to ensure seamless operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and customers.

Your background:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in IT systems engineering or a related role.
• Experience in administration of Windows Operating Systems and Applications.
• Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Understanding of TCP/IP protocol and basic networking concepts.
• Experience with server monitoring tools.
• Experience with backup tools.
• Excellent analytical skills to resolve critical issues.
• Ability to handle service requests and support tickets efficiently.
• Commitment to following production processes and change management policies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have:

• Experience working with VMware vSphere.
• Datacenter experience and managing server hardware.
• Automation using PowerShell
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA+, MCSA).
