Job Description

Aristocrat leads the world in gaming content and technology, and we seek an ambitious Sr Lead Tech Artist to join our outstanding team! As a Sr Lead Tech Artist, you will have a vital part in crafting the visual and technical elements of our digital gaming projects. You will support seamless collaboration and high-quality delivery across various teams. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with innovative technology and contribute to crafting premium gaming content!

What You'll Do

  • Create and refresh artwork and animation for digital gaming projects.

  • Focus on the content implementation pipeline to ensure smooth workflows.

  • Clearly and accurately complete processes regarding asset management, file organization, and output configuration.

  • Schedule and manage time efficiently while working with agile development leaders to plan work.

  • Provide assets punctually and according to specifications, ensuring careful attention to detail.

  • Conduct peer reviews to check work for accuracy and quality.

  • Record game processes according to business requirements.

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to achieve the highest quality games possible.

  • Follow guidelines set by management to develop and manage art assets in support of business goals.

  • Propose ideas and innovations to advance the overall testing process in aspects such as tools, methods, and more.

  • Work collaboratively with distributed team/studio leads for status updates, mentorship, and achieving defined goals.

  • Join after-business hours calls according to business requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree/BFA/MFA or equivalent with 5+ years of work experience in digital gaming as a technical artist.

  • Strong experience in Adobe products, including After Effects and Photoshop.

  • Knowledge of 2D graphics and animation principles.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages to automate artist tools, such as After Effects plug-ins.

  • Experience using asset control systems (Perforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.

  • Prior experience in the digital or social gaming industry is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to adhere to technical/compliance specifications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with global collaborators.

  • Ability to recommend improvements to the overall testing process related to tools, processes, and test cases.
