Data Management:
Develop and implement data management strategies for media assets.
Ensure proper cataloging, tagging, and metadata management of all media data.
Monitor data quality and integrity, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
Data Governance:
Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations
Collaboration:
Work closely with content creators, production teams, and IT departments to understand data needs and workflows.
Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to leverage media data for strategic initiatives.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze media data trends and usage to provide insights for content strategy and performance optimization.
Generate reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Asset Optimization:
Identify opportunities for enhancing the value of media data assets.
Develop processes for data lifecycle management, including archiving and deletion protocols.
Technology Management:
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of data management tools and systems.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in media data management.
Training and Support:
Provide training and support to team members on data management practices and tools.
Serve as a point of contact for data-related inquiries and support needs.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Media Studies, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in data management, preferably within the media or entertainment industry.
Proven track record in managing large datasets and media assets.
Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., DAM systems, SQL, Excel).
Familiarity with media formats and industry standards.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Detail-oriented with a passion for data and media.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Adaptable to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
